The Erth Dragons: The Wearle by Chris d'Lacey - review

This story is an inspiring tale of friendship, loyalty and wisdom. The dragons are strong, brave and horrible, or so the humans think. Luckily a small boy sees the truth about the beasts and ventures over the scorch line and into their territory. However the boy, named Ren, gets stuck in a cave. Soon after he arrives it begins to collapse, and he sees a young, baby dragon which he knows he has to save.

However, the dragons do not know where the young dragon is, and so they presume him dead and gone. Will Ren be able to make things right? Or will it all end in catastrophe?

This book is fantastic, and I really want to find the second one to continue the story. The story is by Chris d’lacy and is one of the best books that I have ever reviewed. I would give this book a 4 and 99/100th out of 5 because although this book was fabadoo, I thought some of the dragon words were hard to understand.
