The encounter with traffic cops that just kept on getting worse and worse for this drug driver

Police officers carried out a simple traffic stop in north Manchester - and discovered a catalogue of law-breaking going on.

When GMP pulled a car on Moston Lane for using false number plates, it wasn't long before it transpired that it was far from the only offence to have occurred.

Officers went on to discover that the driver was also under the influence of drugs.

And to make matters worse, the driver wasn't insured to drive the vehicle either.

But it turned out the driver wasn't the only occupant of the car who was up to no good.

No sooner were they arrested, their passenger was then also booked for possession of class A drugs.

Officers from GMP Manchester north received many messages of thanks from the public, after posting about the incident on their social media channels, with the sign off 'none for the road'.

Their post read: "Officers stopped this vehicle on Moston Lane, the car was using false plates.

"The driver was subsequently arrested for drug driving and no insurance.

"The passenger was arrested for possession of class A drugs.#nonefortheroad #anotheroneofftheroad"
