We are now only a couple of weeks away from the 2020 January transfer window opening, which will give clubs up and down the country the chance to strengthen their squads.
Nottingham Forest will be one of those who may be looking to add to their squad in the New Year, as they look to have a strong second half of the season.
The Reds are currently in eighth place in the Sky Bet Championship table, and are looking to mount a challenge for promotion to the Premier League.
Sabri Lamouchi may consider dipping into the transfer market and bolster his squad to help boost the club’s chances of securing promotion to the top flight.
But what about players heading in the other direction?
Earlier this week, we asked Reds fans to vote on which players they would like to leave the City Ground in the New Year, and they have responded.
The results of the vote show that Forest supporters would like eight players to depart next month.
Rafa Mir (0.4%), Michael Hefele (4.6%) and Zach Clough (6.4%) received the lowest percentage of votes from fans wishing for them to remain on Trentside beyond January.
Next came goalkeeper Aro Muric, with just 15.2% of supporters wanting him to see out the remainder of his loan spell from Manchester City.
The final four players who Forest supporters would like to depart in the New Year are Costel Pantilimon (20.3%), Claudio Yacob (20.9%), Yohan Benalouane (28.3%) and John Bostock (30.0%).
