The eight changes Nottingham Forest fans want to see for Arsenal clash

Nottingham Forest fans have picked the starting XI that they would like to see take on Arsenal this evening.

The Reds travel to north London to take on the Gunners in the third round of the Carabao Cup, and go into the tie in good form.

Sabri Lamouchi’s side claimed a 1-0 win over Barnsley in the Sky Bet Championship clash at the City Ground at the weekend.

Those three points moved Forest up to sixth place in the league table, and they remain undefeated in all competitions since the opening day loss to West Bromwich Albion.

We at Nottinghamshire Live have provided a predicted starting XI that we think Lamouchi will select to beat the Gunners.

Forest supporters have also made their prediction, and they have opted to make eight changes from the side that beat Barnsley on Saturday.

The first change sees Aro Muric replace the impressive Brice Samba between the sticks, with the Manchester City loanee last featuring for the Reds in their 1-1 draw with Charlton last month.

Two further changes are made to the defence by fans, with Joe Worrall and Matty Cash the two that keep their spots following the win at the weekend.

Worrall is partnered by Tobias Figueiredo at the heart of the Forest defence, with Cash at right-back and Jack Robinson introduced at left-back.

As we move into midfield of a 4-5-1 formation, the only remaining player to keep his place is Joe Lolley on the left wing.

The other changes see John Bostock replace Ben Watson in the defensive midfield role for the Reds.

Albert Adomah and Alfa Semedo are also included in the fans’ preferred XI, as is youngster Brennan Johnson, who recently signed a new long-term contract at the City Ground.

Sammy Ameobi is selected by Forest supporters to replace Lewis Grabban as the lone striker, with the former Bolton Wanderers forward capable of operating as the main targetman.
