The eight Arsenal players whose futures have already been decided

Arsenal have made eight youngsters available for loan, football.london understands.

Among the players who will be looking to increase their experience are highly-rated striker Nikolaj Moller and midfielder Ben Cottrell.

Cottrell made his first team debut in the Europa League against Dundalk last season, while Moller has impressed since arriving from Swedish club Malmo in the summer.

football.london has learned that the Gunners sent the list to a number of clubs based in the UK, and there are high hopes for many of those being sent out on loan.

As revealed on Monday, George Lewis and Tim Akinola are also set for moves, with the latter playing the joint-most minutes for the under-23s last season.

The eight players Arsenal have made available for loan:

Nikolaj Moller
George Lewis
Ben Cottrell
Tim Akinola
Jonathan Dinzeyi
Harry Clarke
Ryan Alebiosu
Zak Swanson

With regards to the first team, as football.london reported last month, Arsenal want to bring in five new first-team players this summer as a minimum, all of whom would bolster different areas of the squad.

The positions Arteta wants to strengthen are in goal, left-back, right-back, central midfield and a number 10-type creative player.

Arteta has already confirmed that it is likely Arsenal will do the bulk of their business after Euro 2020 finishes.

Much of the leg work has already been made in the build up to the opening of the transfer window on Wednesday.

Intermediaries have been contacted and there is a sense among those within football that Arsenal want to go about their business 'quietly' this summer.

It's also evident that players will be sold in the coming weeks, with the likes of Matteo Guendouzi, Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira all edging closer to leaving the club.
