The EFL have confirmed the arrangements if Bury are kicked out of the league after 125 years on Friday.
The Shakers' owner Steve Dale has until a deadline on Friday to satisfy the league about how the club will be funded going forward or they face expulsion.
Today, bosses said that information still had not been forthcoming and said their game with Tranmere on Saturday had become their sixth of the season to be postponed.
Sheffield Wednesday have also been awarded a win for their postponed Carabao Cup tie earlier this month and they will progress to round two where will play away at Rotherham United on Wednesday August 28.
The EFL said tonight talks with Mr Dale were ongoing and they were hopeful of avoiding the sanction.
But they confirmed that would happen if Bury were to lose their place in the league pyramid they were founder members of and have remained in since 1894.

In a statement they said: "It remains in regular communication with Mr Dale but if a solution is not found by the deadline, the Board will authorise the necessary share transfer on behalf of Bury FC which shall be legally binding on all parties and result, regretfully, in the Club no longer being a member of the League.
"Should this happen, Bury’s record from the 2019/20 season would be expunged with League One consisting of 23 Clubs for the remainder of the campaign and the number of relegation places reduced to three at the conclusion of 2019/20 season.
"Four promotion places would remain from League Two ensuring a full complement of 24 teams in League One in 2020/21.
"Bury would then be free to make an application to the Football Association to re-join league competition further down the English football pyramid from season 2020/21."

If they do somehow keep their place, Bury, who have already been hit with 12 point deduction, will face further punishments for the postponements.
A compulsory voluntary agreement (CVA) was struck with the debt-ridden club's creditors last month, which Mr Dale said secured the club's future and avoided the need for administration.

EFL bosses say they require proof of how the CVA will be financed and the he newly-promoted club will be funded moving forward before they will be allowed to begin their League One season.
The Shakers, who won promotion at Prenton Park in May, have so far not kicked a ball in anger with five league games and the cup tie cancelled due to the club's financial situation.
Fans and the town's MP James Frith have pleaded with Mr Dale to sell up in a bid to save the club.
However reports today said he had turned down a "very good offer."
