YouTube’s biggest football bloggers will line up alongside legends of the game at the home of English football for the fourth series of the EE Wembley Cup.

Last year, thousands of fans turned out to watch Spencer Owen’s Hashtag United take on F2 Freestylers with Steven Gerrard, William Gallas and David James among the former Premier League stars also making appearances for charity.

This year’s edition is an expanded version with four teams involved with Calfreezy’s Rebel FC and WillNE and Stephen Tries’ XO joining the party, with two semi-finals before a winner-takes-all final.

Here’s all you need to know about the EE Wembley Cup 2018.

Start time

The charity matches kick off at 2pm on Sunday 25 November.

What’s the format this year?

The teams’ build-up to November’s final will be documented by a seven-part YouTube series. On the big day, regular 11-man rules will exist but with matches lasting 30 minutes. Semi-finals and the final will take place at Wembley.

What are the new rules?

  • Man Down Time - if it’s a stalemate at the end of the 30 minutes, the game moves into the dramatic race against the clock where a player is removed from each team, every minute. The first team to score wins.
  • A new Draft stage - will allow team captains to boost their teams with international football legends and YouTube stars in preparation for the important semi-finals. Four legends and four YouTubers are up for grabs in an American Football inspired draft episode.
