As Edinburgh and the rest of the country enters its tenth month of the pandemic, it's not just people's health that is in crisis as many much loved businesses and eateries are forced to close their doors for good.
With serious financial burden during ongoing lockdown restrictions, and for some very little income as they pivot to solely takeaway services, a number of restaurants, shops and attractions in the capital have been forced to shutdown.
As the country enters full national lockdown once more today, it is likely that more companies will be forced to do the same.
From big chains such as Chiquito, Café Rouge and Pizza Express, to small but popular venues such as Le Roi Fou and Sofi's Bar, Edinburgh residents have seen their cherished locals close.
