Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths arrived at the Scotland camp early to in order to get some extra training in ahead of the Serbia showdown.
The frontman is back involved in Steve Clarke's squad after showing glimpses he's on his way back to fill fitness in recent weeks.
Griffiths scored goals for Celtic against St Johnstone, Aberdeen and Sparta Prague in recent weeks, and will be desperate to add to his Scotland tally come Thursday night when they take on Serbia in Belgrade.
The striker's fitness and attitude has been questioned by some in recent weeks, however his desire to get back in the Scotland fold appears to be as great as ever.
Scotland assistant manager Steven Reid said on Monday: "We've just seen little glimpses this morning. He wanted to come in this morning, wanted to take part in the training session which was great to hear yesterday. A lot of the players who were involved [on Sunday] are going to meet up slightly later but he made it known that he wanted to get in early, wanted to train in the session.
"It was a smaller group but you see glimpses. You see it all the time with Leigh. The quality that might be needed. That finish against Aberdeen took my breath away. The shift and the finish into the top corner, and that's what he offers, that's what I've seen today.
"The quality he has has never been in doubt. It's just about that consistency and the amount of minutes he's played and getting back up to match speed. The quality is there and it was a pleasure to see some of his touches and finishes."
Scotland's match against Serbia gets underway at 7.45pm on Thursday.
