One day after the Kansas City Chiefs ended a 50-year Super Bowl drought, early odds for the Big Game in Miami were posted and the Chiefs are the early favorites to hoist the Lombardi trophy in South Florida on Feb. 2.
The Chiefs are 1.5-point favorites to win Super Bowl LIV over the San Francisco 49ers, according to Bet MGM.
The over/under was also set at 53.5 points. If fans recall, last year's Super Bowl between the Patriots and Rams was a 13-3 final with New England snatching a record-tying sixth Super Bowl.
The 49ers have five Super Bowls, with their only Super Bowl defeat coming in their last appearance 2013. That year's Super Bowl saw the Baltimore Ravens capture their second championship.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs are in the Super Bowl for the first time since 1970. They won that Super Bowl, 23-7, over the Minnesota Vikings.
On Sunday, the Chiefs defeated the Tennessee Titans for the AFC Championship. The 49ers beat the Green Bay Packers for the NFC crown.
