The Duke of Wellington's cone has been replaced by a robot head

He's one of the most recognisable faces in Glasgow - but you can't see it this morning.

The Duke of Wellington is one of the best-loved historical figures in the city, treasured by all its residents and visited by more than tourists than any other attraction.

But today he's looking to the future from his Royal Exchange spot, thanks to his new robot head, which has replaced his usual traffic cone.

We're all used to the iconic statue being affectionately decorated by locals, but even we had a wee chuckle at this overnight effort.

We think he's definitely pulling it off, and it's nice to see him trying on a new look.
