The hospitality staffing crisis is so bad that one 5* hotel can't find anyone to drive an endless supply of super cars.
On the face of it a dream job, but the hotel concierge position for someone who is comfortable driving an assortment of luxury vehicles cannot be filled by Manchester's Hotel Gotham.
And neither can the role of driving the premier destination's branded Bentley, MEN reports.
Both were advertised weeks ago but remain vacant as the fall-out from lockdown leaves many hospitality business scrabbling around for staff.
The role of concierge is especially important as the hotel has just become the northern flagship for Auto Vivendi, the world's largest private members supercar club.
The £13,000-a-year group is hoping to formally launch next month.

As part of the tie-in, the King Street hotel will stable five of the club's supercars that members can hire as part of their membership package.
Membership of the Auto Vivendi supercar club starts from £13,000 a year - which gives members access to different supercars to hire over the course of the year.
Hotel manager Mario Ovsenjak said it is becoming increasingly difficult to recruit for staff - an experience being felt across the hospitality industry regionally and nationally.
He said: "A year ago we would have 200 applicants when we advertised a post, now we are lucky if we get 20. It's a problem across the industry."
Mario said he was surprised that there had not been more interest in the concierge/chauffeur post, which has been re-advertised this week on their social media accounts.
He said: "It needs to be someone who is confident and comfortable driving our Bentley and high end cars like the Ferrari, with a full clean driving licence.

"We are looking for someone with experience of a deluxe five star hotel environment.
"And most importantly it needs to be someone with a lot of personality to work at Hotel Gotham."
The salary for the role is 'dependent on experience'.
The hotel, which is art deco-themed right down to the staff's retro attire, is also recruiting for a range of front of house roles at the hotel including concierge, receptionists and nights assistants.
