Part of me loves these Fendi eyes because it looks like you’re showing your workings. Like you’ve taken a marker pen to your face to make a note of where to colour in. Mainly though, I love the art of it – a big, black, audacious line, mimicking the line of the eye, shadowing the line of the brow. It’s more like life drawing than prettifying – bold and gestural, a sense of theatre. Also, another way to enjoy eyeliner, which is fairly “hooray” in itself.
