This dramatic footage captures the moment a train carrying molten metal exploded at Port Talbot's Tata steelworks.

The footage was captured on a driver's dash cam as they drove along the eastbound stretch of the M4 before a huge ball of fire erupts into the sky from the steelworks below.

A series of small fires caused by the explosion are now under control and it is believed two people suffered minor injuries.

Emergency services were first contacted at 3.35am on Friday after multiple people reported a series of "massive" bangs which shook homes in Port Talbot.

The bangs could be heard from as far away as Bridgend and Tonyrefail.
