With the team wrapping up their final round of voluntary organized team activities (OTAs) this week, the offseason conditioning and preparations are well underway for the Dolphins. The next several months will have no shortage of storylines — there are position battles to be won, the potential trade of safety Reshad Jones, the battle against low expectations and much more.
And while the Dolphins aren’t expected to compete for significant postseason play this season, remember — life is good. There’s a new direction in Miami. A change has finally been made at quarterback and there’s an open awareness that the last decade of Dolphins football hasn’t been good enough. After so many seasons of middling play, having that awareness and an aspiration to change is all one can ask for — for now.
