The Dolphins scored 70 points (yes, really) to humiliate the Broncos and NFL fans were stunned

It was quite the day for the Miami Dolphins.

The team moved to 3-0 on Sunday, keeping control of first place in the AFC East thanks to an absolutely brutal 70-20 beatdown against the Denver Broncos. Yes, the Dolphins really scored 70 points against the Broncos, coming three points shy of breaking the NFL’s long-standing most points in a game record set by Washington in 1966.

It was a drubbing of the highest proportions. Tua Tagovailoa went 23-for-26 with four touchdowns. Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane each had multiple rushing touchdowns on the day. And when all was said and done, the Dolphins became the NFL leader for most yards in a single game with 726.

To finish things off on an explosive offensive day, Achane went 67-yards to the house to put the Dolphins at 70 points for the afternoon.

Beatdowns don’t get more impressive than this, honestly. The Broncos — who were already teetering on embarrassment — are in serious trouble after this humiliating loss. As for the Dolphins, it seems as if the party is just getting started in Miami.

NFL fans were in complete shock that the Dolphins scored 70 points to embarrass the Broncos.
