The Dog House fans were left in bits as they watched adorable pup Luna finally find her forever home after being found as a trembling and skinny stray.
Beautiful saluki Luna was incredibly nervous as she met prospective new owners on the show, and thought she'd found happiness at a new home.
Lizzie, who works at the adoption centre, said: "For a nervous dog, meeting anyone new in any circumstance is really difficult, it's very tricky and you really feel for them."
She met Laura and Paul and their children, and got to spend some time together to get used to them, but she was shaking with fear.
So to help calm her down, the family brought out their other dog Dave, a three-legged black labrador, and her tail started wagging and she felt more brave.
Laura and Paul originally took her in, but soon returned her to the shelter, and swapped her for another dog named Luna, because they said it she did not gel with Dave.
They said it was not an easy decision but that they had to do what was best for Dave.
Thankfully, at the end of the show, it was confirmed that Luna had "found love" after moving in with an older saluki who helps to keep her calm.
One tweeted: "I’m not ashamed to say I cried watching Dave and Luna."
"Dave and Luna melting me! #thedoghouse", wrote another.
"Properly cried at the end of that, that family didn't deserve sweet Luna and I'm so happy she found her forever home," added a third.
"So glad that beautiful Luna has now found her loving forever home. It was so sad to see her shaking on TV. So pleased she is happy now," penned a fourth.
