The Dodgers reporter who hurt himself going down the Brewers’ slide got the ol’ body outline treatment

Poor David Vassegh.

The reporter for Spectrum Sportsnet took a ride on the Milwaukee Brewers slide at American Family Field, and the result was a bad one: Vassegh has a pair of fractures in his hand and wrist … and six fractured ribs.

Vassegh really has taken it all in stride, even with all the laughs about his slide down.

And I hope he’s going to have a laugh over what was put on the slide the next day: The ol’ “fake chalk outline of a body made out of white athletic tape” prank.

The Dodgers’ Justin Turner highlighted it on Twitter Thursday morning:

And the resulting prank

Reaction!

He loved it!
