'The disrespect' - Liverpool fans furious as Premier League make glaring Roberto Firmino omission

Liverpool fans are feeling annoyed after the Premier League failed to include Roberto Firmino on a special Copa America post.

The Premier League's official account on Instagram shared a collage containing every top flight star who is through to the quarter-finals of the competition with their respective nations.

And while Firmino's Brazil team-mates Richarlison, Ederson, Willian, Fernandinho and Gabriel Jesus have all been included on the photo, the 27-year-old is absent.

The caption on the picture - which contains 16 top division players in total - reads: "The Copa America dream goes on for these Premier League stars."

And fans quickly spotted the forward's glaring absence.

The social media post was then inundated with comments from Liverpool supporters questioning the goalscorer's whereabouts.

One supporter quizzed: "Where's Bobby Firmino?"

While another wrote: "The disrespect to Bobby!"

More fans were left wondering why Firmino was not included, one said: "You forgot Bobby!!"

While another noticed the Brazilian behind the arm of Chelsea's Willian, they replied: "He's behind Willian!"

The former Hoffenheim striker was not the only Premier League star missing his own place in the special collage, Tottenham and Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez was also absent.
