Steve Bruce's move from Sheffield Wednesday to Newcastle United has been announced by the Magpies, who have signed the experienced boss down to a three-year deal.
The former Aston Villa and Sunderland boss was only at Hillsborough for a short stint, joining the Championship side midway through last season and winning seven of 18 matches in charge.
His move to Tyneside has not been well received by supporters of the second-tier outfit, who believe he should have shown more loyalty to the club and given more time.
