The Diamondbacks used Meek Mill to hilariously troll the Phillies after huge NLCS win

Hold up. Wait a minute. Y’all thought I was finished?

The Arizona Diamondbacks don’t care about the narratives. They are re-writing the story. After being down two games in the NLCS, the Snakes are very much alive and rallied to beat the Philadelphia Phillies. After such a huge win, the levels of trolling have escalated to top-tier levels.

On Tuesday, Arizona went full Baker Mayfield and planted a Diamondbacks flag on the field of Citizens Bank Park. Whew.

But, when the team went back to the locker room to celebrate, they turned the proverbial and literal bass up a notch.

With the good vibes flowing and plenty of celebratory drinks, Arizona blasted Meek Mill’s Dreams and Nightmares, a known hype song for the city of Philadelphia.

The opening lyrics to the track are I used to pray for times like this, to rhyme like this. So, I had to grind like that to shine like this.

The irony of the lyrics and moment is practically oozing. Holy troll job, Batman. This is a coordinated effort. Whoever decided this needs a raise.

Turn up, Diamondbacks.
