The 2020 NFL regular season schedule was revealed on Thursday, and while the Detroit Lions were dealt a difficult slate of games, they truly went above and beyond with their schedule announcement video. The Lions’ social media team created a schedule reveal entirely in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the Nintendo Switch game that has unsurprisingly become a smash hit during coronavirus lockdowns.
The video is full of great jokes, like a Lions gear-wearing villager burying a giant bear in a hole for Week 1, and a villager trying to give Animal Crossing museum curator Blathers a donation he definitely doesn’t want (Redskins tickets). There’s even a Carole Baskin reference for Joe Exotic fans.
