The detective who led the hunt for vulnerable Paisley mum's murderer urges him: "Tell us where Patti's remains are."

The detective who helped put warped George “Kenny” Metcalff behind bars for life urged him last night: “Do the right thing.”

Detective Superintendent Suzanne Chow wants the killer to step up and reveal where he placed Paisley mum Patti Henry’s body.

Metcalff,72, murdered his former upstairs neighbour and then hid her, most likely at a spot he knew between Girvan and Paisley, and possibly dumping her from the back of a hired white van.

DS Chow, of the Major Crime Unit, said: “My thoughts throughout the investigation and trial have been with Patricia’s family and now sentencing has concluded, my thoughts continue to be with them all.

“Patti’s family and loved ones deserve to have answers and the space and time to mourn their daughter, mother and friend.
