Police found a gun, a crossbow and a knife inside a car in Salford in a 'routine stop'.
Officers said they stopped a Mini on Langworthy Road last night (Tuesday) and searched inside. They found the huge crossbow, as well as small, blank firing gun.
They also uncovered a large, silver knife with a serrated edge. Drugs were also found after two passengers were searched on the scene, police said.
All three people in the car were then arrested. They are now in custody to be questioned by detectives.

Greater Manchester Police's traffic division tweeted a picture of the weapons and the Mini at around 3.45am this morning. Alongside the tweet, an officer wrote: "A routine stop was conducted on this Mini last night on Langworth Rd, Salford.
"The 2 passengers were searched and drugs found. A further search revealed a crossbow, knife and blank firing gun hidden inside the vehicle. 3 occupants arrested and now in custody. #Salford #GMP #RPU."
