The dazzling Cardiff City player ratings as star duo shine up front and defender throws his body on the line

DILLON PHILLIPS 7

Had little to do, other than pick the ball out of the net late on. Nevertheless, looked confident in the absence of Alex Smithies.

SEAN MORRISON 7

Had a couple of wobbles, but like his colleagues, largely didn't put a foot wrong all game and made some crucial interventions.

ADEN FLINT 7

Continues to impress at the heart of defence. Won more in the air than anyone else in the back three. Another solid performance.

CURTIS NELSON 8

He'll be sore in the morning after this one. Put his body on the line and was flattened by shot after shot in the second half. Made some terrific contributions to snuff out dangers too.

PERRY NG 7

Honestly looks like he's been playing Championship football for years such is his confidence at the moment. Battle with Sam McCallum was fascinating at times, and he often emerged on top.

WILL VAULKS 7

Sensational in the tackle. Brilliant in his delivery. Made some crucial defensive contributions on the edge of the box and his long throw continues to be a potent weapon.

MARLON PACK 7

Quietly kept the midfield ticking over all afternoon. Mopped up and fed the front three nicely.

JOE BENNETT 7

Very accomplished in the way he went about his business on the left. Solid showing.

HARRY WILSON 7

Not a vintage performance, but still kept things ticking over in the final third with some nice contributions. Subbed late on.

KIEFFER MOORE 9

Took his two goals brilliantly. Linked up wonderfully with Murphy and held up the ball as well as he normally does. A menace all game. Won more aerial challenges than anyone else.

JOSH MURPHY 9 STAR MAN

Made a brilliant contribution for the first goal. Assist for the second a little sloppier but still crucial. Deserved his goal. One of his best showings in a Cardiff shirt.

Subs

Leandro Bacuna (on for Murphy 72) Slotted in well as Cardiff saw out the game, but had little time to make an impact.

Rubin Collwill (on for Wilson 90) A great moment for the youngster, but little chance of making an impact.
