The Christmas trees and decorations are packed away and the chocolates have all been eaten. After two weeks of festivities it’s nearly time for children to get back to school.
But some will have a few more days off than others. Most schools in Cardiff start classes for pupils on Monday, January 6 or Tuesday, January 7.
Lucky pupils at 12 primaries still have nearly a week’s holiday left because their schools don’t re-open until Wednesday, January 8. Children at Baden Powell Primary return for two days from January 6 to January 7 and then have January 8 off for an inset day. We’ve put together the following list of when each school will start back, based on information on the Cardiff Council website .
The information has been supplied to the authority by each school, but parents are advised to check with the school directly in case plans have subsequently changed.
