The Darkness , the lyrca-cat-suited rock band of the noughties are back and there's a new album to boot. 'Easter Is Cancelled' will come out 4 October, with a UK tour shortly after.
The tour will consist of eighteen dates, starting in November in Belfast, before finishing at London's Roundhouse.
Tickets are available for fans on pre-sale now with pre-orders of the forthcoming album, and tickets go on general sale on Friday 12 April from Ticketmaster and Skiddle here .
The Darkness performed a series of gigs last year, so whilst fans haven't had to wait too long to catch another glimpse, this new tour will concentrate on new music.
The band's latest 'mission' is to 'take back control from the fools and liars who purport to lead us, and instead march forwards into the sunlit uplands of inclusivity, togetherness and rock’n’roll fellowship'. Well, if you can't beat them, join them.

Describing the tour on their latest announcement, the band said "The Darkness are joyous warriors, here to prick the pompous and kick the arses of those who seek to destroy us.
