Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors will host Seth Curry and the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals tonight and now we know who their mom and dad will be rooting for.
As we told you yesterday, Dell and Sonya Curry have agreed to flip a coin before each game which will decide which parent roots for the Warriors and which one roots for the Trail Blazers (though I still think they should both go all in on Seth).
The two held their first coin flip a few hours before Tuesday night’s game and after a competitive round of Rock-Paper-Scissors we got an answer:
Sonya will be decked out in Trail Blazers gear, while Dell will be wearing Warriors gear.
It should be interesting to see how they hold up to this during the games and I’m sure TV cameras will show them a bunch, which is fine. They have two sons playing for a trip to the NBA Finals, after all, and that’s pretty impressive.
