The cruel (but hilarious) prank played on this Bristol Rovers fan's stag do that Bristol City fans will love

A stag do can rank among a man's favourite memories.

On the cusp of marriage, you're surrounded by friends for one last hurrah as a batchelor.

Yet not all friends will be willing to let you enter married life so easily without stitching you up with a bit of a prank.

Spare a thought, then, for Bristol Rovers fan Samuel.

On his stag do for the Rovers' trip to Coventry City, his friends decided to put him through ultimate humiliation for a Gashead - by forcing him to wear a signed Matty Taylor Bristol City kit.

Taylor, of course, is regarded as either a hero or a villain depending on where your allegiances lie, after his controversial move from Rovers to City in January 2017.

Gas fans on social media could see the funny side of the prank.

Why Bristol City forward Matty Taylor isn't sure he'll keep his place for the visit of West Bromwich Albion

Meanwhile, one City fan could sympathise with Samuel, revealing that he had been stitched up in similar fashion recently.

All the best to Samuel ahead of his big day.
