The Crown's Emma Corrin flashes chest in see-through dress after demure Diana role

The Crown recruit Emma Corrin made headlines with her casting as Princess Diana.

Released today on streaming giant Netflix, The Crown's fourth series will see a young Diana and Prince Charles meet for the first time.

And spilling about the pressures that a role of that magnitude brings, Emma set pulses racing with a raunchy new cover shoot.

Gracing the cover of GQ Hype, Emma's photoshoot wardrobe included a see-through dress that reveal her incredible figure.

The 24-year-old was snapped on set earlier this year, her hair done up in a perfect imitation of Diana's signature style.

And Emma doesn't hold back with her opinions on the figure having studied her extensively, remarking to GQ that she thinks the "real mistake" of Diana and Charles' union was "that the marriage happened in the first place."

Diana and Charles formally divorced in 1996, having wed in 1981, and Diana tragically died in 1997 in a car crash.

And asked what she reckons Diana's sons, the Princes William and Harry, would make of the show, Emma admitted she'd probably slip out if she ever came across the royal brothers at a party.

Filming wasn't without its risks for the role either, as she was hospitalised after filming a scene in freezing cold water in Spain.

"I'm asthmatic and had been ill for a while with a cough," she recalled to GLAMOUR UK.

"I had to film a scene in a freezing-cold swimming pool. It was the hardest scene to film because I was genuinely keeping myself alive treading water.

"We were meant to be flying back that night to the UK and went past a hospital to get antibitotics.

"The doctors gave me an oxygen test and test and said 'we can't let you go because your oxygen levels are so low', so I was hospitalised."

Emma quickly made a splash with The Crown's writing team after her casting - making it a personal request that they include extra details about Diana's heartbreaking bulimia battle.

"I don't buy that anyone has a healthy relationship with food," she added, "These days there's so much pressure, especially with social media, to be a certain way."
