The Cross Keys to host farewell roast dinner event ahead of new venture opening

The Cross Keys is having a big Toast to The Roast farewell party ahead of a renovation which will see it return as a new venture.

The team announced the news on Twitter.

Owners North Bar agreed the sale to new independent group Water Lane Pub Company.

“We'd love friends, family and regular customers to come down as we bid a fond farewell to the pub,” North Bar posted. 

“This new phase will be headed up by Richard Fiddaman, former Operations Manager for North Bar (known to his nearest + dearest as 'Bean').

“Bean's plans sound fantastic, and we can't wait to see what comes next for the pub.”

The Cross Keys will close from Monday, October 22 before reopening under new ownership.

The Water Lane Pub Company will be operating a pop up bar in the run up to Christmas, before refurbishing the site in the new year.
