It’s been a few months since Season 8 of The Crew Motorfest was released, and the community has been itching to see some new content added to the game. Fortunately, the developers have unleashed a wave of details about Season 9, and we know the release date plus a ton of information about what content players can expect from the update.
With everything we know about The Crew Motorfest Season 9, it’s safe to say that this is the biggest update the game has seen in some time. So whether you’re an avid player or someone who has been thinking of returning to The Crew Motorfest, this update should be plenty enticing. Below, you can see exactly what’s coming in Season 9 along with its release date.
The Crew Motorfest Season 9 Release Date
Before we get into any major details about the update, you’ll want to know when it’s arriving. The current planned release date for Season 9 is set for March 4, 2026, and that’s highly unlikely to change at this point unless something goes catastrophically wrong for Ubisoft over the next week (which is always a possibility).

We don’t know what time Season 9 will launch on March 4, but you can expect to arrive sometime during the morning or afternoon in the Eastern Time Zone. The update is going live on all platforms, PS4 + PS5, Xbox One + Series X|S, and PC, at the same time, so everyone can hop in right when they finish downloading the Season 9 file for The Crew Motorfest.
What’s New In The Crew Motorfest Season 9?
Now it’s time to get into the content that’s coming with the Season 9 update, and there’s plenty to be excited about for fans.
The major highlight of the update is the new hub area called “Playground Island.” Playground Island is accessible via a bridge from the main map and features loads of things to see and do. However, you’ll immediately see that Playground Island offers a ton of unique content brand new to The Crew Motorfest. This includes new Hot Wheels-inspired tracks and the Track Forge Creator, the latter of which is a primary focus of Season 9.
The Track Forge Creator allows you to create your own tracks and circuits by using in-game models and props. When you’re done with a creation, you can either drive it yourself or share it with the world, allowing others to experience what you’ve made. This, in and of itself, should provide players with dozens of hours of content in Season 9.
In addition to Playground Island and the Track Forge Creator, The Crew Motorfest is officially teaming up with NASCAR and collaborating to bring next-generation vehicles and current teams/drivers to an all-new playlist in Season 9.
You can participate in the NASCAR playlist and use some truly iconic cars from the Next Gen Cup Series, including the Ford Mustang Dark Horse, Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and Toyota Camry XSE, amongst plenty of others. Using these vehicles, you’ll head to scenic NASCAR tracks and locations and race in realistic elements. You’ll have to manage pit stops and master new driving mechanics that have been modified to match what it feels like to drive in a NASCAR race.
The final part of Season 9 is the addition of RC Cars to The Crew Motorfest. RC Cars are smaller vehicles that can jump, allowing for cool stunts to be performed and accessing areas of maps that couldn’t be explored before. Unfortunately, it appears as though the RC Cars part of Season 9 won’t come at launch, and instead be included in a mid-season update. We don’t know exactly when that update will arrive, but you should expect it within the coming month or two.
And that’s all of the content that’s been announced for Season 9 of The Crew Motorfest. It’s a truly jam-packed update that has something for every type of player, with even more content on the way in future updates beyond the March 4 launch date. Ubisoft could also have some surprises up its sleeve, so we’ll have to watch out for some secret content that could sneak its way into the update.
