The creepy Halloween house in the Valleys which attracts horror fans from miles around

A fridge crammed with dismembered body parts, a man with a pig's head wearing a blood-soaked butcher's apron and a charred doll strapped to an electric chair. Just some of the super creepy Halloween decorations that have appeared early outside one Valleys house.

And if that lot aren't enough nightmare fuel for you there's always Pennywise the clown leering down at passersby from the boarded-up bedroom window, or the spookily lit gravestones dotted around the garden. And don't forget the giant spiders cocooning what looks suspiciously like a human body in their webs above the front door.

It's all the work of Jamie and Tammy Bazeley from Penywaun in Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taf, whose gruesome creations are fast becoming quite the attraction come October. "We put them up for the first time last year and everyone went nuts," said Jamie, a 33-year-old support officer for vulnerable young adults.

"Hundreds came from all over, some as far away as Cardiff. There were times when there'd be cars queuing all the way up the street.

"We even had people knocking to ask if they could take photos. In fact, as I'm standing here talking to you now there's someone outside snapping away with their phone."

When asked what possessed them to start spooking the neighbours in the first place, the dad-of-three replied, "Well, we aren't really a big Christmassy family. We have a tree and a few lights, but October 31st is much more our sort of thing."

He added that he also made a lot of it himself. "To create Pennywise, for example, the wife wrapped me up in cling film and sticky tape to make a mould for the body.

"And then we filled it with expanding foam and chicken wire to get to shape right - same for the guy with the pig's head. It all took a few months from start to finish.

"Luckily the people who live round here are really cool and don't mind it at all. They've all got grandkids who are really into it.

"There's only one person who lives in a nearby street who said she won't walk past and instead goes the long way round when taking her little lad to school. That's because he's scared of clowns, apparently."

Strangely though, Jamie admitted to not actually being a big fan when it comes to certain scary things. "Horror films? No, I hate all that," he said.

"The missus can't get enough of them. But, honestly, I've never been able to sit through any."
