And of course, unsurprisingly you'll find some of them in Glasgow, with two top eateries making the list.

Number 16 Restaurant, Byres Road
This long-established restaurant on Byres Road is not only cosy and stylish but it's ideal for a date night.
Fine dining at, well its finest, the small but perfectly formed menu is filled with tempting offerings created using some of the best ingredients Scotland has to offer.
