The confirmed Champions League 2019/20 group stage pots as Chelsea and Spurs await fate

Spurs and Chelsea are now keenly awaiting their Champions League fates, with the pots for the group stages confirmed.

The Premier League sides will be looking forward to the group stage draw, which takes place in Monaco on Thursday evening, and all 32 teams in the tournament have now been confirmed.

Twenty-six clubs qualified automatically for the group stages, with six teams coming through a tough qualifying campaign.

As a result of winning the Europa League last season, Chelsea will be in pot one for the draw on Thursday, meaning they are among the top seeds for the tournament, while Spurs are in pot two after finishing as last season's Champions League runners up.

The sides will be drawn against one team from each of the other pots, although clubs cannot be drawn against teams from the same association, so there will be no all-English ties in the group stage.

We've taken a look at just who Mauricio Pochettino and Frank Lampard can face below.
