The Co-ops are without a shadow of a doubt the masters of the frozen meal deal but they have even trumped themselves with their latest one which lets you pick up loads for your hard earned.
The last time shoppers could tuck into two Ristorante pizzas - one Mozzarella, one Pepperoni; a bag of potato wedges; a box of Southern Fried Chicken Strips and a tub of Double Decker ice cream.
But this time round might be even better as for £5 at The Co-op you can get *drumroll please* a box of Magnum classics, McCain crispy dippers, a box of Bird's Eye Southern Fried chicken popstars; a bag of garlic bread and a Goodfellas margherita pizza.
The deal has just launched today (Wednesday, May 8) and has already had quite a reaction on social media.
Reacting to a picture of it on the Extreme Couponing & Bargains UK page on Facebook, one thrifty shopper commented " I love the coop meal deal it really helps a lot," and another impressed bargain hunter wrote "Love these! Always a bargain and great to grab when kids bring unexpected guests round hehe."
But just like on other occasions, others pointed at the lack of healthy options. Someone reacted "Nice for a monthly treat or special occasion. Otherwise all I see is nooooooooo. Why is healthy food never on offer?"
Defending The Co-op, another follower of the page replied "To be fair this is a good deal. To all you people complaining about unhealthy eating and the lack of veg you don’t have to use it all at once.
"I always cooked for my husband and kids but sometimes , if delayed by traffic or weather, was grateful to take something out of the freezer and stick it in the oven.
"Saved either buying them a takeaway or letting them starve."
