A move abroad has always been Lennon Miller's preference and he may just get his wish.
Serie A side Udinese look to be leading the race for the 18-year-old's signature after having two offers rejected in January.
The second of those was worth £2.5million but Motherwell were holding out for up to double that. And the Scottish Sun is now reporting the Italians look ready to come in with a fresh offer.
Their Serie A rivals Bologna, who already have Scotland international midfielder Lewis Ferguson, are also said to be interested.
Celtic have also been linked while clubs in Germany, including Borussia Dortmund, are casting a keen eye.

Miller is in the final year of his contract at Fir Park but, such is the demand for his services, the Lanarkshire club will still be able to command a significant fee. It is likely to surpass their record sale of David Turnbull to Celtic for £3m.
Motherwell manager Jens Berthel Askou had denied claims Miller was already in Italy for signing talks.
He said: "There’s nothing new on Lennon. He wasn’t able to be here tonight but we will hopefully see him tomorrow.
"There are a lot of rumours about Lennon Miller, and I’ve heard a lot of funny stories and rumours, but the thing is he’s still a Motherwell player and we’re very happy to have him here.
"When there’s something concrete to comment on, we will."
