The club Fernando Llorente is currently training with following Tottenham summer exit

Fernando Llorente is still on the lookout for a new club following his exit from Tottenham in the summer.

Moving to north London from Swansea City on a two-year deal back in 2017, the striker's contract expired at the end of last season but there was no official confirmation from the club that he had been released.

Many saw that as an indicator that he could sign fresh terms to remain at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the 2019/20 season, yet he still remains without a club following the start of the new Premier League campaign last weekend.

Posting a couple of images of him putting in the hard work in the gym on his Twitter account last week, it appears that the veteran striker has been training with Sevilla's B team as he looks to keep up his fitness levels ahead of a prospective transfer.

Llorente can be seen in a picture with the rest of the Spanish side's youngsters as they take part in a pre-season training camp on the Costa del Sol for games against Marbella FC and Cordoba CF.

Amid talk of a return to the Premier League with Spurs or Manchester United, a number of Italian clubs are also believed to be keen on a deal for the free agent.

Heavily linked with a move to Napoli, reports from Corriere dello Sport claim that Lazio hope to sign the 34-year-old by offering him a three-year contract in the Italian capital.

Given Spurs missed out on a sensational deal for Paulo Dybala on transfer deadline day, there is still a possibility that Llorente could return to the Lilywhites to bolster their attacking options.

Although the transfer window is now closed for Premier League clubs trying to bring in players, free agents can still be signed but they need to be registered in a team's final 25-man squad for the season which are published on Monday, September 2.
