The clocks go forward for British Summer Time tonight

Amidst all the uncertainty in the UK over the coronavirus crisis, it may have slipped your mind that the clocks are set to go forward tonight.

But we think any good news is something to celebrate right now - and the fact that we're about to have lighter summer evenings is definitely something to smile about.

Even though we'll lose an hour's kip on Monday morning, we're looking forward to those longer nights.

The change happens on the last weekend of March every year, meaning that the clocks will jump forward an hour at 1am this Sunday.

The clocks won't change again until Sunday October 25 when the clocks move back to GMT for winter.

We know that there are plenty of reasons to worry at the moment, but we think getting to wake up to sunshine instead of darkness in the morning is definitely something to smile about!
