The classy t-shirt message that Lucas Torreira revealed after goal against Napoli

Lucas Torreira has impressed in his first season for Arsenal and put an exclamation mark on that as he scored against Napoli at the Emirates Stadium

Aaron Ramsey opened the scoring in north London as the Gunners looked in fine form in their Europa League quarter-final first leg.

The Welshman, who departs for Napoli's Serie A rivals Juventus in the summer, polished off some tidy football between Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette and Ainsley Maitland-Niles with a side-footed finish.

The Uruguay international then doubled the lead in the 25th minute with a striker past David Ospina's replacement Alex Meret. The effort went in courtesy of a deflection from Kalidou Koulibaly but it did not stop Torreira from celebrating it like one of his own.

The 23-year-old held a t-shirt aloft that showed a picture of the Arsenal midfielder and another gentleman holding a Sampdoria No34 shirt. The words underneath the image read: "We love and miss you, Rafita."

Reports suggest it is a dedication to a friend who recently died in a car accident. It is believed to be Rafael Guarino, from Torreira's hometown of Fray Bentos.

Torreira ran to the bench to retrieve the t-shirt, potentially to avoid a booking.

Law 4 Section 5 states: "Equipment must not have any political, religious or personal slogans, statements or images.

"Players must not reveal undergarments that show political, religious, personal slogans, statements or images, or advertising other than the manufacturer's logo."
