The Circle viewers fall in love with 'babe' Tim and think he looks like an iconic film star

It may have only been one episode but The Circle viewers have already picked out a series gem.

Those watching the brand new Channel 4 series couldn't help but instantly fall in love with 'babe' Tim .

During the live launch show on Tuesday night with Emma Willis, many fans took to Twitter to rave about the 58-year-old theology professor.

One tweeted: "TIM IS THE MOST PRECIOUS HUMAN BEING SO WELL EDUCATED AND JUST BEING NICE WHILE CUDDLING HIS CAT GIVE HIM THE £100K NOW."

"Babe? Who's babe, she or me? I want to be a babe."

Tim is literally EVERYTHING," said another.

"TIM IS SO PRECIOUS WE NEED TO PROTECT HIM AT ALL COSTS," a third demanded, whilst a fourth added: "That's it. Tim wins. He's the purest soul."

Many also noticed that the charming and eccentric character reminded them of the late iconic film star Robin Williams.

Williams, famed for his roles in Dead Poets Society, Good Will Hunting and Hook , died in 2014 aged 63.

"Tim is like a Robin Williams character. Just give him the £100k and call it a day," said one.

Someone else questioned: "I can't be the only one that thinks Tim looks a bit like the late Robin Williams, similar personality as well."

"I love Tim from @C4TheCircle he looks like Robin Williams but sounds like Siri," added another.

A fourth said: "Tim is already the winner - cross between Father Christmas and Robin Williams - whats not to love?!"

And it's something he has recognised, describing himself as a cross between "Santa and Mrs Doubtfire".

Tim has already boned with two of his fellow players, Brooke and Georgina, and now he is in control of their fate as he was rated top alongside catfish "Sammie" aka James immediately making him a Circle influencer.

The Circle continues tonight on Channel 4 at 10pm.
