The Circle returns to Salford apartment scheme as managing agent Qube strikes new deal with Studio Lambert North

Social media-inspired game show The Circle has returned to this Salford apartment scheme after its managing agent Qube revealed it will continue to work with Studio Lambert North on the programme.

The firm's Adelphi Wharf scheme and its 76 apartments have been used as the filming location for the show since its second series in 2019 - and will again be used for the third edition, set to start on Channel 4 on Tuesday.

The Circle sees players move into separate tech-enabled apartments, to live alone and only communicate with one another via a social media system called The Circle.

In the game where anyone can be anyone, players compete to stay in the game, become the most popular and walk away with a cash prize.

The third season was preceded by a week-long celebrity edition of the show in aid of Stand Up to Cancer UK, which ended on Monday and was won by British rapper Lady Leshurr, posing as fellow rapper Big Narstie.

The apartments managed by Qube Residential, located in Salford, were used to film both series of the show, with the property managers facilitating Studio Lambert North’s move into the block, for the last two series, as well as the celebrity special.

Dave Seed, managing director at Qube, said: “It’s fantastic to be back working with the team at Studio Lambert North and strengthening our relationship with them once again. They have been great to work with and we look forward to future projects with the team.

“It’s been a great experience as always and we love seeing the apartments transformed each time they come in to build the set.

“Anticipation is high for the next couple of series of The Circle , and we know they won’t disappoint. It’s brilliant to see Manchester put on the national and global stage as a result of being on the programme.

"Our creative, digital and media sectors are thriving, and I hope this will help to push them forward even further.”

Tim Harcourt, creative director at Studio Lambert, added: “We are always well looked after by the team at You Are Home Mcr and Qube Residential and are delighted that we’ve been able to keep bringing The Circle back to these apartments in Manchester.”

Each time, the team comes into the block and spends several weeks preparing the apartments for filming, bringing in interior designers to elevate the spaces into the sleek, contemporary homes seen on screen.

The instruction comes off the back of a year of transformational growth for Qube Residential, with the firm winning appointments on developments including the 700 unit Fortis Quay development in Salford, True Student in Liverpool and filling the 193-unit Silkhouse Court development in less than eight weeks.

Qube has two offices in Manchester and Liverpool and was founded by managing director Mr Seed in 2016.
