The Chiefs’ Super Bowl rings are a thing of beauty with 255 diamonds in each one

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl 54 way back in February when they rallied in the fourth quarter to beat the San Francisco 49ers in Miami.

On Tuesday, the team received their rings and these things are pretty sweet.

The Chiefs held a special ceremony on the field in Arrowhead Stadium with each player standing at table with their rings in a box. After watching a celebratory video on the Jumbotron they opened their boxes and saw the impressive piece of jewelry, which Andy Reid hopes will help get him some free cheeseburgers.

Check these things out:

Mahomes loves his new ring:

And rightfully so. Just look at these things:

Here are some details on the rings from KMBC9:

The Chiefs Super Bowl ring features 10 ½ carats of gemstones, including 255 diamonds and 36 genuine rubies.

The centerpiece of the ring is the Chiefs Arrowhead logo, which is composed of 60 diamonds in honor of the franchise’s 60th season and 16 cut rubies, which represents the 10 AFC West Division titles and six playoff appearances under coach Andy Reid.

There are also 50 diamonds around the logo in the shape of the Lombardi Trophy to mark the 50 years between Chiefs’ Super Bowl victories and an additional 122 diamonds cascade along the ring top edges, marking the club’s 22 playoff appearances and the hundredth season of the National Football League.

Yup, not too bad at all.
