The Chiefs crashed the 2023 NFL Draft to parade their Lombardi Trophy and fans were so over it

Considering the 2023 NFL Draft is taking place in Kansas City this year, it was no surprise to see some grandstanding about the city’s recent Super Bowl victory. That being said, not all NFL fans were happy about it.

Ahead of Thursday’s opening round of the 2023 NFL Draft, Roger Goodell took to the stage to begin the proceedings to copious amounts of boos. But before the Carolina Panthers could draft Bryce Young with the No. 1 overall pick, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce walked on stage to hype up the home Kansas City Chiefs crowd.

And, of course, Mahomes and Kelce brought out the Lombardi Trophy to complete the revelry.

Mahomes, Kelce, and Chiefs fans have every right to celebrate their recent Super Bowl win, but many NFL fans weren’t happy with Kansas City parading around their victory ahead of one of the sport’s biggest nights. Here’s how NFL fans reacted to Mahomes and Kelce’s appearance at the 2023 NFL Draft.
