The Chiefs and 49ers paid a sweet tribute to Kobe Bryant before start of Super Bowl 54

The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers took a few moments before the start of Super Bowl 54 on Sunday night to pay their respects to Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gigi, and the seven other people who lost their lives in that tragic helicopter crash last Sunday.

All the players and coaches from both teams went to their 24 yard line for a few moments before heading back to their locker rooms for the last break before kickoff.

Many players spoke throughout the week about how much Kobe meant to them growing up and that they hoped to go out and play hard for him.

This was a nice start to the evening:

Well done, NFL.
