The Chicest Hosts I Know Have This Tiny Keurig in Their Guest Rooms – and it's Under $50

Keurig K-Mini Mate In Green on a future background.

At the start of fall, I stayed at a friend’s home, and she had thoughtfully placed a petite coffee maker in my room. I’m an early riser, and I loved the quiet indulgence of those mornings with a cup of coffee in bed.

It was the new Keurig K-Mini Mate – and it turns out, all the chicest hosts already know about it. With one of the smallest footprints of even the best coffee makers, it’s perfect for tight spaces – and it comes in chic shades that will blend seamlessly with your decor.

I’ve always loved the idea of a bedroom coffee bar. In fact, I’ve been begging my partner for years to move one of the best espresso makers into our room, but until now, we haven't had the space for this luxury.

The beauty of the Keurig K-Mini is that it is super slim and space-saving. I've tested some of the best Nespresso machines, and they can be bulky and not the prettiest to look at. The opposite is true of the Keurig K-Mini, which comes in subtle green and rose-tinted colorways.

It is suited to small kitchens (especially if you want to bring your coffee station ideas to life), your home office desk, and it even makes a very stylish dorm room idea.

Speaking of guest rooms, a coffee maker manages to instantly elevate the space, turning it into a private retreat that will help your guests feel relaxed and cared for.

Make sure to add some coffee bar essentials, like a small canister of Keurig K-Cups. There are literally hundreds of flavors to choose from, but I think the holiday-themed pods are especially charming this time of year.

And if your guests are staying for a few days, don't forget to empty the machine and refill the reservoir regularly to keep everything fresh.

More Chic Coffee Essentials for Guest Rooms

All the chicest hosts I know have taught me that hosting doesn't end in the kitchen and dining room. A few thoughtful touches in the guest bedroom are what keep guests talking long after they’ve left.

If you're a proper coffee addict like me, and you're staying away for the holidays, you can easily pack the Keurig K-Mini in your suitcase and plug it in at the destination. It's a pretty genius move!

If you're looking for a larger coffee maker to feed a crowd, I've tested some great drip coffee makers this year – you can read the reviews in my guide to choosing the best coffee maker for you.
