The Cheshire "mini estate" with its own outdoor pool and stables up for rent for £5,000 a month

For all those with dreams of being lord or lady of their own manor, a Cheshire "mini-estate" has come up for rent - if you have a cool £4,995 a month to hand that is.

Keepers Nook is a sprawling country estate in the rural Cheshire hamlet of Somerford - near Holmes Chapel where One Direction heart-throb Harry Styles famously hails.

And the property is certainly befitting of someone with a superstar lifestyle, with its own outdoor swimming pool, equestrian facilities and landscaped gardens surrounding the central mansion complete with all mod cons.

It is currently available to rent with Savills Lettings in Wilmslow for £4,995 a month, or £1,153 per week - which works out at almost £60,000 a year, reports Cheshire Live.

The pricey pad is among the higher end of rental properties on the southern edge of Cheshire's footballer belt - and it's also one of the largest spanning more than 8,036 sq ft, with grounds of 5.7 acres.

The principal five bedroom house is laid out over two floors with what is described by estate agents as "thoughtfully designed layout" approached through a long gated driveway.

A covered entrance with an oak door opens into a spacious oak floored hall with a turning staircase leading up to the galleried first floor.

Among the key features is a huge designer kitchen by Clive Christian, leading out to double French doors and a loggia area providing covered access to the main double garage and workshop with its office/store room above.

On the ground floor there is also a reception hall, drawing room, study and family sitting room.

There's also a large vaulted orangery with more French doors opening into the garden.

Upstairs the master suite has a dual aspect, with a fitted dressing room and en suite bathroom with twin hand basins.

To the rear of the house is the outdoor swimming pool area with tiki bar and a large breeze house, descibed as "perfect for entertaining on summer evenings".

The pool is tiled and has an electric cover and a plant house and changing rooms with showers and WC within the barn which adjoins the pool area.

Also in the barn is a separate self-contained apartment with its own kitchen, dining and triple aspect bedroom, which estate agents says is "well suited for business use, extended family or staff accommodation."

Equestrian facilities include a yard to the rear of the barn with space for horse boxes and a set of four stables with a tack room and feed store, as well as a paddock.

The property would suit those with young children and looking for some of the most sought-after private schools - for the village is near to the famous Terra Nova Preparatory School six miles away, and the Kings School in Macclesfield.

Keepers Nook is around three miles from Holmes Chapel on one side and three miles from Congleton on the other - two bustling Cheshire towns with a wealth of independent shops, quirky cafes and bakeries and restaurants.

There are a number of private sporting clubs, golf courses and equestrian centres nearby including the renowned Somerford Park Farm whose land adjoins the property.
