Pedro's time at Chelsea is set to come to an end.
The 32-year-old is out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season and it has been widely expected that he would be released in the summer having fallen down the pecking order under Frank Lampard this season.
In March it appeared that a decision had already been made about his future in west London amid quotes that were apparently attributed to him from a source in Spain.
"I’m terminating my contract, but right now it’s not the most important thing, nor have I stopped to think about it," Pedro told El Larguero on CADENA SER, as quoted by Sport Witness.
"From there on what has to do with my future will come, but right now it’s not the most important thing when you don’t even know when you’re going to train again."
However, that was not the case as Pedro insisted a decision regarding his future had not been made at the time.
Fast forward three months and his exit has been all but confirmed and while he is expected to extend his contract until the end of the coronavirus-delayed Premier League campaign, he is set to bid farewell to the Chelsea fans.

It is understood that the 32-year-old is close to agreeing a two-year contract after initial discussions took place in April.
Pedro's exit could be fantastic news for a potential new arrival at Stamford Bridge this summer.
The big transfer news surrounding the Blues at the moment is their attempts to sign RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner after missing out on a forward in the January transfer window.
Werner had been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this summer, but football.london understands Lampard's side are in pole position to close a deal.
The Blues are ready to activate the Germany striker's £53million release clause before it expires on June 15, and are in negotiations over personal terms, with a five-year deal expected to be offered.
Once all the formalities are completed, Werner would need to be allocated a shirt number.
The German currently wears no.11 at RB Leipzig, and that squad number is set to become available at Chelsea once Pedro's exit is officially confirmed ahead of next season.
