The Chelsea players who will be fresh after international break and one worry ahead of Man City

The international break is finally coming to an end and Chelsea's players will be returning back to Cobham to prepare for Manchester City.

Chelsea are in a great run of form right now with six Premier League wins in a row, however last season's league winners will be another test for Frank Lampard and his young side.

As is the usual way over the international break, the Blues had several players away with their countries, but for once there weren't the injury worries for Lampard to have to deal with ahead of what is going to be a massive match for both teams.

However, Lampard might be concerned with the workload that a few of his Chelsea players had to go through, especially Jorginho who ended up playing two full matches against Bosnia and then Armenia on Monday night.

Emerson Palmieri also played for Italy, however he only played in the first match and did not feature in the second contest.

Mateo Kovacic also played 80 minutes over the course of two games for Croatia, carrying on his decent form that he has started at the beginning of the campaign.

Another Chelsea player who went through a high workload was Olivier Giroud, who started and finished both matches for France against Moldova and Albania.

The good news for Lampard, however, is that N'Golo Kante played only 90 minutes, while Kurt Zouma did not get any minutes for the Les Bleus.

Chelsea had four players on international duty with England, with Mason Mount getting the most workload, completely 98 minutes over the wins against Montenegro and Kosovo.

Callum Hudson-Odoi played 59 minutes on Sunday, with Tammy Abraham scoring his first England goal in the 33 minutes that he played against Montenegro.

Fikayo Tomori also made his Three Lions debut, but only featured in six minutes of the game in Kosovo.

Willian has been a key player for Chelsea this season, and he was recalled to the Brazil squad, playing 71 minutes against Argentina, but then being an unused substitute against South Korea in Abu Dhabi.

Kepa Arrizabalaga was the starting goalkeeper for Spain in their hammering over Romania on Monday night, having not featured in the opening game.

Michy Batshuayi and Andreas Christensen have struggled for consistent minutes for the Blues, and they were given 13 and 18 minutes respectively for Belgium and Denmark.

Reece James made his first Premier League start for Chelsea against Crystal Palace and could potentially get more minutes against City at the weekend.

The 19-year-old played 118 minutes for England U21s against Albania and Netherlands, while Billy Gilmour played a full 90 minutes for Scotland U21s at home to Greece on Friday.
