Christian Pulisic put in another star turn to inspire Chelsea to a crucial 2-1 win over Manchester City on Thursday night.
It was the second goal in two games for the American, who has restarted the Premier League campaign in blistering form.
Pulisic has had a stop-start first campaign with the Blues, with injury having derailed his chances to really string a consistent few months of play together.
However, his two goals since the return of action has shown that he could be a big player for the Blues in the future, and is only going to get better according to Blues boss Frank Lampard.
"Christian came in last summer," Lampard said after the win over City.
"Lot of talk about it. He didn't really get a break when he got in the team. He was playing really well and gets a really tough injury.
"I wanted to protect him a bit against Villa, see that he could make an impact. He did that.
"I always planned to start him against Man City because I know what he can bring in these sort of games and he brought it. He did really well.
"He needs to keep working, he's a young player but he's got so much talent and he can get better and better."
Chelsea have also already made their move in the transfer market, with Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner having been agreed as new signings.
The pair will join the Blues for the 2020/21 campaign and there is a lot of excitement around the two incomings.
But for one Chelsea player, he will have to play some catch up on those wingers who have been impressing.
Callum Hudson-Odoi finally committed his long-term future to the Blues after flirting with the idea of moving to Bayern Munich.

The 19-year-old has struggled with injuries over the course of the campaign, with just seven starts in the Premier League and another ten substitute appearances.
The winger scored his first Premier League goal and netted in the 7-1 win over Grimsby Town in the League Cup, but has failed to really kick on.
Next season could be a big one for the England international.
If he is able to keep fit over the course of the rest of the season and then pre-season, it could be a campaign where Hudson-Odoi kicks on.
However, for Hudson-Odoi he will be fighting for playing time against some top players joining the club and the form which Pulisic is showing.
